About Library
The Mountain Top University Library was established in 2010. The National Universities Commission (NUC) has requested for a well-established library that would aid the successful take off of the Institution.
The Chancellor, Dr. D.K. Olukoya appointed Dr. (Mrs.) Helen O. Jaiyeola Akinade, a professional Librarian and member of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries for the task. The Librarian, who eventually became the pioneer University Librarian approached the then Camp Commandant, Pastor (Dr.) 'Femi Ajila who assisted by providing the logistics needed for the establishment of the Library. Thus, the Library was established and also helped the successful take off of the University in 2015 when it eventually got the approved licence to operate as a private University.
The Library of Mountain Top University is envisioned to provide relevant, reliable and accessible information resources and services that would impact the teaching, learning, research and innovation for the production of top-rate, morally sound graduates of distinction.
The Mission of the University Library is the provision of current, up-to-date facilities in both hard and soft copies for the training of men and women in various disciplines in the conducive atmosphere that will lead to academic excellence.

The fact remains that the Library is not just a building. It is the heart of academic centre where intellectual activities such as studying, learning and research are being carried out.
Therefore, the mission of the Library is to provide information resources and services that support the vision and mission of the Mountain Top University, where excellence is the goal, while the vision of the Library is to continually transform its services to meet the information needs of the 21st Century information users. Thus, the Library, in addition to print materials, also provides access to electronic resources such as e-book, e-journal, e-thesis, etc.
Furthermore, the Library has dedicated staff who are committed to providing support and user-friendly environment for the University community.
To this end, you are encouraged to navigate through the available resources to the maximum level that would lead to academic empowerment.
